Kathy Wardle of Busby Perkins & Will and Alex Hutton of Stantec presented the newly released ‘Roadmap for the Integrated Design Process’ document that has been put together to assist design professionals. The guide comes in 2 parts and can be downloaded free of charge from the BC Green Buildings or Buildsmart websites.

The second part of the event posed the following question:

Mientras preparaba éste post, leía también la interesante conversación en D+ sobre la prioridades nítidamente establecidas por las autoridades de la sureña ciudad de Concepción, Chile, donde al parecer, la preferencia política y económica la siguen teniendo aquellos proyectos de escaso impacto social positivo, y un fuerte pero siempre solapado subsidio público (entiéndase costosa infraestructura urbana, incremento de impactos de tráfico, y des-articulación urbana en pro de la mentada economía -privada- de escalas).
